Holidays are upon us. I hope you have all been able to place some down time, self-care, relaxation and just plain chill time into all that is going on. This time of year is such an example of everything; the ups and downs, the hectic and calm, the sweet sentimental and sometimes the stressful and crazy making. It is like life itself. It is all there. In every moment the beauty and the pain. The light and the darkness. As we grow and change and keep peeling those layers of the onion we are met with lessons. Some are fun and some are not. Either way they have come to us for a reason and walking through it is the hero’s journey. Joseph Campbell speaks of the hero’s journey; our call to adventure, where we through a crisis, become victorious and hence transformed. Our life is this adventure. We continue to grow and change and fulfill our purpose, being present in the moments, listening to what we need to hear, the guiding and revealing of our next steps and taking actions that align with the mission we are on. My prayer and wish for all of you is that you tune into yourself, deeply listening to the call of your heart, revealing what it is that you are to do and that you do it. No matter what. We need you to be you, the brightest, biggest you that you are meant to be. Lay down the fear and worry, rest it, let it float away and bring yourself fully to this new decade.
Take this last week of the year and think about this. Stew on it. What do you hear? Can you hear what you are trying to tell yourself? What do you need to do? Why? If you don’t know then quiet the noise around you. Walks are very powerful for me. I “hear” a lot when I am walking. I get many messages. Try it. Keep trying things until you “hear” it. Let’s accept this adventure and transform ourselves and the world by being fully who we are meant to be!!! Happy, happy Tuesday
